April 2009
Hi there and welcome to April! I’m feeling very excited about this month’s release in the UK and US of my Six Nations Rugby book The French Tycoon’s Pregnant Mistress. I’m also extremely chuffed as it was chosen as a Top Pick in the Romantic Times! So I am going to be giving away lots of books and lots of goodies to celebrate. I’ve been pretty busy with the day job lately, primarily working on a commercial for this:
But now things are back to normal and I can get back to writing.
I have lots to give away, including some UK copies of my upcoming US June Presents Extra release of The Spaniard’s Marriage Bargain, so this is how I think I’ll do it:
The first person to in response to this news update will receive a lovely 100% cotton, black Irish hand-bag, complete with pink furry heart, along with signed copies of The Spaniard’s Marriage Bargain and The French Tycoon’s Pregnant Mistress.
The second person to email me will receive signed copies of both books again, along with a lovely Shamrock Bag, which would be perfect for carrying around your favourite books!
The third person to email me will receive both signed books, again with the Shamrock bag.
The fourth person to email me will receive a copy of The Spaniard’s Marriage Bargain along with a Shamrock bag.
The fifth, sixth and seventh people to email me will receive signed copies of The French Tycoon’s Pregnant Mistress and a lovely set of Irish Coasters.
See? I wasn’t lying.
Now in an extremely synchronistic piece of timing, just as my own contribution to the Six Nations books is coming out, I am so proud and pleased to say that Ireland won the Six Nations Grand Slam in the Millennium Stadium in Wales!!! It was the most exciting game I’ve ever seen and makes me doubly proud to have written this book which happily coincides with such an historic win. We last won the grand slam 61 years ago!
In another piece of good news, my friend Anne McAllister has been nominated for a prestigious RITA award for her book: Antonides’ Forbidden Wife. Here’s to Anne and looking forward to seeing her pick up the award at the RWA conference this summer! Now just a few more books to give away – I’ve been getting lots of foreign editions, and I have one or two of the following up for grabs: Estonian, Italian, Afrikaans, Spanish, Swedish and South Korean…so if any readers from any of those countries get in touch I’ll gladly pass along my translated books to you!
In writing news, I had my tenth book accepted at the end of February, it’s entitled, ‘Ruthless Greek Boss, Secretary Mistress‘ and it’ll hit the shelves in the UK this December, and I’m currently working on another Greek tycoon themed book which is loosely related to the last one.
Lastly, for anyone who had expressed an interest in the Tiarnan Quinn character from Bought for the Frenchman’s Pleasure, his and Kate’s story is coming out as ‘Mistress to the Merciless Millionaire‘ in September in the US and October in the UK…
That’s about all for now, I’ll look forward to hearing from you and I hope you’re all enjoying winter turning into spring.
Back soon!
