July 2009
Hi everyone, I hope you’re all doing well and having a great summer reading and relaxing. I’ve been working hard and just had my eleventh book accepted. It’ll be called The Virgin’s Secret and will be out in the UK in March 2010. If you’ll notice the title, it appears as if Harlequin Mills and Boon are making a bit of a change in that department. There’s also been a shake up to the way the books are distributed monthly to the shops in the UK: now there will be two cycles, five new books released on the third Friday of every month, and the remaining five books on the first Friday of every month.
Thankfully it’s not been all too much hard work, I also got a chance to go to Venice and Bergamo for a few days and had a gorgeous time, not to mention thoroughly inspired. It was my first time in Italy, and Venice is everything people say. It’s almost too unbelievably perfect and romantic and evocative. I’ve decided that I’ll have to set a book there and my hero will be called Rocco, apart from that though, the plot is a little bare (!)…here are some pics to make you drool.
I’m due to get my author paperbacks of Mistress to the Merciless Millionaire in August, so check back in a few weeks and I’ll do a little giveaway. This book will be out pretty much simultaneously in the US and UK. I’m also due to get my author hardbacks of Ruthless Greek Boss, Secretary Mistress which is out in the UK in December, so I might have one or two of those to give away too…
In the meantime keep reading and writing, and I’ll be back as soon as I get those author copies…!
I’ll be back soon with more news,
