20 June 2012 – 24 hr giveaway!

Hi there – well I’m back from more travels – a cousin’s wedding in England. The weather was horrendous but apparently it’s lucky if it rains on your wedding day so if that’s the case they’ll be living a very long and happy life together!

 

On the way to the wedding I stopped off for a night with the lovely India Grey. We drank bubbles, ate salmon, chocolate, more bubbles and talked and talked and talked. When you’re an author in isolation, it’s good to get out to talk! We also watched W.E. the Madonna movie about Wallis Simpson but it left us a bit cold.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Then after the wedding I stopped off in Manchester and had a night with Heidi Rice – more yakking and eating and drinking and yakking. I would like to sandwich all my trips like that 😉

 

But, more importantly, while I was in India Grey’s house I helped myself to one of her new books (it’d be rude not to) and got her to sign it. So I have a pristine copy (amazing after a weekend in the carnage that was my suitcase) of Champagne Summer, which contains two of her most scintillating stories, to give away!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I’ll also throw in a couple of copies of my books and a little surprise 🙂
